Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

The short version: we take your email only if you offer it, we use it only to send word of the launch, and we never sell it. The site sets no cookies of its own.

Who we are

playloth.com is operated by Kuykendall Industries (Montgomery Kuykendall), the maker of Legacy of the Horizon. For anything in this policy, write to marketing@playloth.com.

What we collect

Your email address — only if you join the launch list. It is stored as a contact with Resend, our email service provider, and a notification copy is delivered to our inbox through our email forwarding provider. We use it for one purpose: sending you news about the Legacy of the Horizon launch and platform.
Aggregate analytics — we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free service. It records page views, referrers, country, and device class in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not track you across other sites.
Hosting logs — our host, Vercel, may briefly log requests (including IP addresses) for security and operations, as any web host does.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. If you choose to open the soundtrack player, the embedded player is served by Spotify, which may set its own cookies under Spotify's privacy policy. The embed loads only after you open the player — never before.

How we use your data

Launch-list emails are used solely to send Legacy of the Horizon updates, on the basis of your consent when you signed up. Analytics are used to understand, in aggregate, how the site is doing. That is the whole list.

Sharing

We never sell or rent your data. It is handled only by the service providers that make the site work — Resend (email delivery and contact storage), Plausible (analytics), Vercel (hosting), and our email forwarding provider — each acting on our instructions.

Retention and unsubscribing

We keep your email until you leave the list. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just write to marketing@playloth.com and ask — we will remove you promptly.

Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email marketing@playloth.com and we will honor the request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has joined the list, contact us and we will remove the entry.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
